CHRIS TO PLAY IN SHAUN BARKER’S TESTIMONIAL
Former Derby County defender Chris Powell will return to the iPro Stadium to play in Shaun Barker’s testimonial match on Thursday 24 March, 7pm kick-off.
Barker suffered a serious knee injury in a 1-0 win over Derby’s rivals Nottingham Forest in March 2012 and after three years of rehabilitation he returned to play at under-21 level, before his contract expired.
Powell will play for a Shaun Barker XI managed by Roy McFarland, against a Derby County XI.
